AtlantiCare is seeking 1 Locum Advanced Practice Provider (NP with RNFA or PA) for Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Atlantic City, NJ.The site needs a provider ASAP through October, covering 12-hour shifts (7?AM 7?PM or 7?PM 7?AM). No formal call is required but shift coverage may include weekends and nights as scheduled.Practice Setting: Hospital-basedCoverage Location: Atlantic City, NJ AtlantiCare Regional Medical CenterDates of Coverage: ASAP through October 12-hour shifts (7?AM 7?PM or 7?PM 7?AM)Reason for Coverage: Temporary covereage while the site seeks a full time provider.Interested in: LocumDocumentation System/EMR: CernerTrauma Level/Designation: Level IIWill You Accept Providers Needing to Obtain State License? NoSchedule:12-hour shifts (7?AM 7?PM or 7?PM 7?AM)Coverage includes trauma alerts, inpatient care, OR, and roundingNo formal call required, though call ratio may varyRequired Procedures/Responsibilities:Trauma alerts and surgical consultationsAdmitting, rounding, and OR support for Trauma and Acute Care SurgeryFacilitating discharges, ER admissions, and house codes/rapid response teamInsertion of: Ventilation management, Chest Tube, Central Line, Arterial Line, PICC LineMinor laceration suturingNon-invasive ventilatory support (BiPAP/CPAP)Supervision:Supervising physician present in-house 24/7APP will not work autonomouslyEstimated Credentialing Timeframe: temps have been approved
• 30 days averageTravel Reimbursement:Mileage only (provider must be local) Submission requirements: NP or PA with RNFA (if NP) [REQUIRED]Active New Jersey State License [REQUIRED](must hold current license; cannot wait for licensing)BLS, ACLS, and ATLS or ATCN Certifications (AHA) [REQUIRED]Experience in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery [REQUIRED]Proficiency in Trauma Alerts, OR Support, Inpatient Rounding, and ER Admissions [REQUIRED]Experience with Ventilation Management, Chest Tube, Central Line, Arterial Line, PICC Line, Non-Invasive Vent Management (BiPAP/CPAP), and Minor Laceration Suturing [REQUIRED]Experience Responding to ED for Trauma Alerts and Surgical Consultations [REQUIRED]Supervising Physician Present 24/7; APP Will Not Work Autonomously [REQUIRED]Experience with Cerner EMR [PREFERRED]NPDB Self-Query report (Should be pulled within 30 days)
