General CommentsMCP Rehabilitation Therapy Services: consist of 1. Physical Therapy 762; 2. Occupational Therapy 766; 3. Speech Therapy 759. All 3 departments serve 1. Acute Care hospital (Trauma Level 1, Neuroscience, ICUs, ECMO, Burn, Oncology, Ortho & Spine floors @ 600 beds. 2. Inpatient Rehabilitation (40 beds)

• Number of Staff 27 FT PTs/ 19 FT OTs/ 9 FT STs Type of staff: Day Shift only Director, Manager, PT super., OT super. & ST super, PT/OT/ST staff Patient Ratios NA Type of equipment walking equipment, bikes, bars, treadmills = therapy equipment EMR Meditech On Call Requirement None Floating Requirement None Must work 2 weekend shifts a month as rotation Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Acute Care Hospital skills & Inpatient Rehab
• PT, OT, ST Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. PT Must have at least 1-year experience in acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation settings OT
• Must have at least 1-year experience in acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation settings ST
• Must have at least 2 years of full-time acute care hospital (Level 1 Trauma preferred) or LTAC experience. Must be highly skilled at the completion of modified barium swallow studies Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. In general candidates whose work history consists solely of Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) and/or Outpatient settings and/or Pediatrics or School setting will not be considered. List typical procedures performed on unit(s): 1 on 1 providing PT (or OT or ST) treatments to patients ST in addition ST needs to complete MBSS studies in radiology Best personality Fit: Willingness, accountability as well as being flexible & open minded are the keys to be successful at MCP. Good sense of humor is important as well Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
