Please also make sure to address the traveler s shift availability upfront.Minimum 1 year experience required.VA or compact states (licensed candidates are preferred, but VCU will accept 30-day work authorization if the agency is on top of it to ensure that licensure is received within the appropriate deadline).No local candidate radius rules.2 References RequiredCandidates will float within scope if needed.BSN preferred.EPIC charting experience preferred.Facility will review all background hits, etc.Return Staff Policy: 6 month gap to be considered as a traveler.VCU has a natural nail policy.All ER and Psych candidates are required to submit to fingerprinting as outlined in the code of Virginia, 37.1-183.3. The average turnaround time for the results is 15-20 business days. Candidates are NOT allowed to start with results pending. Please plan start dates accordingly.
