RRT, AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA NRP required, Active VA License required at submittal. (Would only accept CRT if they had 10+ years experience) Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 5 years experience. Must have both adult and NICU experience. Must have experience with neonatal ventilation, SIPAP, high flow, and jet ventilation. Job Duties: Aerosol tx, bipap, ABGs, ventilator management, HFNC, CPT, COPD education, respiratory assessment, management of airway, Nitric oxide Types of patients: Adults, Level III NICU, and peds potentially in the ER What areas do they cover: floor and ICU, NICU, and ER RT Equipment (Brand for Vents, Cpap, Bipap, High Flow) Servo I, S, and U. V60, HT-70, resmed, optiflow, Volara, Therapy vest, SIPAP # treatments per day Around 20 tx per shift Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist? Only assist Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist? Supervisor or charge therapist "Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?)
