URGENT NEWS –
We have received word from the Idaho Board of Nursing that we are no longer able to allow RNs who do not hold either a Compact RN License or an Idaho RN license.  

If we have RNs who are working under a non-compact license or a single state RN license that is not Idaho, they will need to pursue obtaining an RN Idaho permanent or Temporary license immediately. 

Please do not submit any further candidates who are non-compact or non-Idaho licensed.

Unit Notes:Department: Physical Therapy
• Unit: Physical Therapy Jerome
• # of patients treated per day: 8 to 10. 1 therapist per day.
• General Certification Requirements: BLS
• Other Certs Required for all PT: N/A
• Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Ortho-total joints, neuro
• strokes, occasional brain injuries, don't see TBI; medical, and General ICU.
• Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient: Acute Inpatient and Swing Bed.
• What areas are they required to cover: Acute Inpatient and Swing Bed. When census is low they will float to Magic Valley Medical Center.
• Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties: Must have 1 year of licensed experience in acute inpatient or rehab experience, okay with first time travelers.

• How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: Usually 2-3 days in department. Travelers should plan on working M-F 5 8 s to accommodate the onboarding schedule. This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles. To ensure adherence to this rule, we will require the candidates' perm address in the submittal to confirm they are outside of that specified radius before proceeding with the profile review.
