Full Job Description:
Position / Specialty: IR Tech Shift: 10 hour shifts, either 7-5:30 or 8-6:30 (when on-call) Daily Caseload per tech: 15-25 based on site Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years experience required First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend REQ: call for every 3rd weekend (varies on the needs) Is on-call REQ? Yes
• 10-14 days in a 4 week period, including the weekends. Able to be on-call for emergency cases after hours/ weekend/ holidays Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float between Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park, and Skokie as needed. Open to accommodating block schedule? Only for day off Locals accepted: Yes
• no radius. Pending State License accepted: (Y/N) RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days. Guaranteed Hours: Can be low censused once a calendar month without penalty. Special Requirements: COVID Vaccine Required. Required Work Setting Experience: Inpatient. Preferred Work Setting Experience: Operating Room, ER, Level 1 Trauma, Teaching Hospital. Required Skills Experience: PACS, C-Arm, and Contrast. Preferred Skills Experience: Portables, EKGs, IV Starts. Required IR/Angio/Special Procedures Experience: Stents, Angioplasty, Angiograms. Preferred IR/Angio/Special Procedures Experience: Ablations, Nephogram, Peripherals, Biopsies, Upper & Lower Extremity, Hemo Dynamic Monitoring. Epic experience preferred. GE, Siemens, and Phillips experience preferred. BLS and ARRT Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma (if applicable): Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 719 Scrub Color: Provided Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Staff who work the day and evening shifts can shuttle from Ryan Field, the service is available Monday through Friday. No shuttle on weekends or holidays, will be allowed to park in parking structure on the south side of the lot. Please remember staff must complete an application; present to parking office and receive a sticker that needs to be displayed on rear window. For night parking, go to the parking office to arrange payment at the employee rate before shift. Auto payment may also be set up. Fees apply to days and mids, $15 bi-weekly.
