Full Job Description:
Under the direction of the technical supervisor and medical director, the Ultrasound Technologist III demonstrates competency and pro?ciency in all skills required to perform all routine and advanced ultrasound procedures as de?ned by department protocols. All technologists utilize independent judgment and required knowledge to obtain high quality diagnostic ultrasound images. The technologist competently evaluates the technical quality of the images obtained and prior to submitting to interpreting radiologist. They educate the patient/family about the procedure and report all changes in patient s status, includinginitiating emergency response if required. They accurately document patient information in the appropriate hospital systems. Ultrasound Technologist III acts as a resource and assists in the training of less experience technologists in the department. Assists with quality control duties and monitors/orders supplies for the department(s) as required. Acts as a lead technologist in the absence of the technical supervisor/assistant technical supervisor. Hospital based positions may require call responsibility and rotation to hospital adjacent imaging center locations. Performs other duties as assigned. Cardiology department only: On-call employees are required to respond to call within 15 minutes, troubleshoot problem, provide services o?-site as needed and be available to provide services on-site asneeded within 1 hours of being called to respond. Schedule Notes:4 Months M-F 8am-5pm give or take 30 minutes OB experience required. At least 2 years experience preferred BLS and ARDMS certification required $84/hr bill rate. 500 Superior Ave. #210 Newport Beach 92663 Skills: Minimum of ?ve years of experience as an ultrasound technologist, preferably in an acute care setting. Required ULTRASOUND IMAGING ARDMS QUALITY CONTROL EMERGENCY RESPONSE Additional VASCULAR CARDIOLOGY Education: Associates degree or higher. Graduate of an ARDMS approved ultrasound program. Certifications Required: BLS American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered in one or more special es Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging:RCSAE: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo (RDCS) registered, Or RCS: RegisteredCardiac Sonographer -Adult EchoNon-Invasive Vascular Lab: DMSVT: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS-RVT) registered. Certifications Preferred:Advanced credential in vascular imaging (RVT) This is the pay range that RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) reasonably expects to pay someone for this position, however, as a supplier your expected pay range may vary and/or include certain benefits like: Stipends (for clinical TRAVELER roles only), Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K [include any compulsory benefits such as commissions, incentive bonuses, etc. if applicable].
