OUR EP CVTSs RUN THE STIM PROTOCOLS AND PERFOM CALCULATIONS/ELECTROGRAM
MEASURMENTS INDEPENDENTLY, SO IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE TRAVELER BE ABLE TO FUNCTION
IN THIS ROLE WITHOUT ASSISTANCE AND BE ABLE TO PERFORM A COMPLETE EP STUDY
INDEPENDENTLY. ADDITIONALLY, THE CVT SHOULD BE WELL VERSED IN THE SET UP OF CARTO,
ESI, AND CRYO. THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO SCRUB ALL PROCEDURES PERFORMED IN THE EP LAB
NOT JUST IMPLANT/DEVICE CASES. From Mgr Jana: EP tech must scrub and have the experience :
scrub, running pacer protocols, performing measurements, and independent EP studies. Must have
exp in the role of both monitor (STIM) and scrub.
