• travelers rotate call four weekdays one week, with the weekend off, and then off the next four weekdays and on the weekend POSITION SUMMARY Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of special technical procedures, performed with the CT scanner and MRI. QUALIFICATIONS Required: ARRT registered in one or both of either the CT and/or MRI registries. Licensed in the State of Oregon; and Has qualifications and experience determined to be adequate by Director of department and lead technologist to operate equipment and evaluate images obtained. Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Lic/Reg/Cert: Oregon licensure, and ARRT registered in one or both of either the CT and/or MRI. TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS Must pull call on rotational basis for 24 hour coverage in CT/MRI. Medium to very heavy physical demand (lifting and moving patients 100 to 300 lbs must be able to work independently as well as with patients, hospital staff, and physicians. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: __ Maintains a positive and professional atmosphere for patients, physicians and co-workers. __ Performs all duties of a CT and MRI Technologist. __ Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical or emotional stress and gather and exchange patient information with nursing personnel and physicians. __ Transfers and properly positions patients for examinations in order to obtain desired radiographic results according to physician specifications. __ Provides immobilization as required and protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards. __ Trained in transferring images from CT or MRI modality into PACS. 2023 Hospital Orientation Schedule (This does not mean that the dates listed are eligible for submittal at time of posting) 10/24 11/7 11/14 12/5 12/19 Cancellation Policy:1 shift for 12 weeks or less. 2 shifts for 13-18 week assignments. 3 shifts for any contract exceeding 19 weeks.
