Position Description
A highly competent member of the professional health care team, who, through previous clinical experience and education, has shown excellent clinical judgement and is able to perform at a high level of autonomy. Actively participates in Interventional Suite (IS) cases involving complex disease by scrubbing with the physician and assisting with the movement and alignment of x-ray equipment as well as the control of radiation throughout procedures. Monitor hemodynamic pressures and document the details of the procedure in the electronic medical record. Deliver exceptional patient care and adheres to radiation standards and guidelines established by radiology agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.
Qualifications:

The Interventional Suite operates as Level II Cardiac Catheterization Lab providing 24/7 STEMI call coverage. The newly renovated lab is one Suite that supports Peripheral Vascular and Interventional Radiology Services. Hours of operation are 0700-1530, Monday thru Friday. On call requirements are up to every other day 1530-0700, and every other weekend Friday 1530
