Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties 70% of our work is transthoracic echo. This is the primary and only need I ask travelers to help support. Testing will be both outpatient and inpatient
Experience or 'Must have' skills prefer candidates that had Echo as their focus in school; have worked for at least 1 year as a full-time employee in an IAC-accredited Echo Lab; only work as a cardiac sonographer; scan left-handed; have the highest standards for quality imaging and diagnostic output; use the quantification standards and guidelines from ASE; are familiar with Philips EPIQ ultrasound platform
Average # of studies per day 5-6 average; max of 7; all studies scheduled for 60 mins
EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EMR: Cerner; and Echo PACS: Syngo
