Unit Notes:Medical Solutions Pre-Screens IF CLINICAL RECOMMENDS, AUTO OFFER. *LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Unit: Cath Lab
• # beds: 3 main and 1 is EP & 1 is Hybrid (does both vascular & cardiac cases)
• Certs: BLS, must also be certified, if tech, they must have ARRT that can scrub! MUST have AZ license MRTBE CRT
• Cases: 10-25 cases per day.
• EMR: Cerner and Xper
• Charge Nurse: Yes
• Nurse Aides: Rad techs
• Circulating and Scrub, BLS, Certified. Must have 2 yrs Cath Lab experience. Cover Endo and CVOR.
• Weekend Requirement: Call
• 8-12 days per month
• Holidays: Work into rotation.
• Scrub Color: Provided
• Tele :Phillips
• Vents: NA
• IV Team: No
• RT 24/7: Yes
• Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
• Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 6-630, M-F.
• Call: Call
• 8-12 days per month
• Floor specific orientation: 2 days on job.
• Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Interventional, EP lab, peripherals, EP
• cardiology and vascular, mitro clip, TAVR, IABP and Emtala placement.
• Additional Notes: 30 minute response time. Use Phillips and Siemens equipment. Cancellation Policy:Hospital may cancel up to 3 times per contract. Each cancellation could be a full shift or any part of a shift. (Hospital may also pay full hours for a particular shift, in lieu of cancellation).
