Executive Corner

Notes from the CEO

Dear Clinicians,

The story of Lead Health is about passion, purpose, resilience, and exceptional experiences for anyone who becomes a part of the company.  When I started Lead, it was never about making a huge amount of money, but rather to pay tribute to those who sacrificed to not only take care of my family and my community, but the families and communities across this country.  We will always aim to shine a light on our traveler community and the talented Lead team members that facilitate the journey for each of you.  For me personally, however, creating the company has always been about Leading in the pursuit of personal and professional Legacy.

You may be asking yourself, what exactly does this mean?  Legacy means something deep for me.  It is something that I can use to demonstrate to my kids what it means to never give up.  Something that shows them what it means to help uplift others when they are in need of support or assistance.  Legacy, for me, demonstrates what it means to be a kind human being.  Quite simply, it is a way of sharing my values, and what this organization values, above all else.  These traits - Empathy, Gratitude, Grit, Kindness, Authenticity, Accountability and Vulnerability - permeate throughout all levels of our organization.  My hope is that our company's purpose and values resonate with each of you in a meaningful way.  I hope they inspire each of you to be the best versions of yourselves as you pursue your own definitions of Legacy.

My journey at Lead Health has been a long and windy road.  But I wouldn't change it for the world.  I am grateful for your partnership and hope that your experience with Lead Health will provide you with a personal connection and a source of community that you may not find in a typical "employer" relationship.  If you have any suggestions on how we can improve this experience and continue to challenge the "status quo" in healthcare staffing, feel free to reach out directly at laban@leadhealth.com.  I am beyond grateful to each and every one of you.

Sincerely,

Laban
