Sonja Horner began her career in consumer based marketing for Raycom Media in 1999. She was able to recognize emerging markets and trends across the broadcast group that harnessed viewer’s interests and generated non-traditional revenue for the broadcast group. One of the trends that surfaced in early 2008 was the privatization of healthcare. In 2009, Sonja began consulting cardiologists and primary care physicians on membership based medical practice.
In 2011 she co-founded n1Health, a national company that specialized in actively funding membership based medical practices. Her experience in operationalizing retail medicine business models and working with physicians to design medical services that deliver improved outcomes, led her to the employer space. In 2015, she Co-Founded LeadHealth a company that operates work site clinics that are uniquely designed to address employee symptoms at the source, resulting in fewer medications and improved well being.

Tom Blue is a veteran and pioneer in the field private (“concierge”) medicine. As a builder of private physician practices since 2002, he has a unique perspective on the history and evolution of the industry and the ingredients for success at the practice level.
In 2009, Tom accepted the role of Executive Director of the American Academy of Private Physicians, the national professional association for private physicians. Under his direction, the Academy has re-branded itself, found its voice in the national media, and grown significantly to serve the ever-expanding ranks of physicians who are reinventing themselves and their practices across the United States. Tom co-founded n1Health in 2011. As of 2014, n1Health had physician partners in 7 states and was the fastest growing firm of it’s kind. In 2015, Tom aspired to impact healthcare on a larger scale and Co-Founded LeadHealth.
He is a frequent speaker who in the last year, has been interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, CNN/Money, Business Week, and numerous other print, television, and radio media outlets in connection with his work.
Dr. Robert Darling holds the distinction of being the first board-certified emergency medical physician to serve as the White House Physician. He served President Clinton, Vice President Gore, their families and other presidential support units at the White House, Camp David, classified emergency facilities, and aboard executive aircraft, including Air Force One and Marine One.
Dr. Darling is recognized as an innovative and entrepreneurial leader in the field of medicine. His expertise ranges from providing medical care for disaster relief around the world to creating concierge medical care through the use of cutting-edge telemedicine for high-net worth individuals.
Dr. Darling’s natural curiosity led him to utilize his analytical skills to explore the underlying factors, or “root causes” that contribute to a medical emergency and poor health. Throughout the wide scope of his 30-year career, he has sought to find and treat the root causes of disease in order to restore and improve the health of his patients.
Dr. Darling holds a BS in Biology with honors from Adelphi University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from USUHS. He completed his medical internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD (now Walter Reed National Military Medical Center) and his residency in emergency medicine at the Naval Medical Center San Diego California.
Dr. Cathryn Harbor has been practicing medicine for 25 years and specializes in treating patients with chronic disease. She developed an interest in functional medicine as she began to see that core imbalances are the underlying cause of most chronic disease. Her treatment approach to restore balance is most often accomplished through education and the use of exercise, diet and stress reduction. She believes that there is an opportunity in healthcare to empower patients with information in various formats, so that they understand their current state of health and develop a healthy view of what can be achieved.
Dr. Harbor received her Family Practice certification in 1995 and certification from the American Board of Holistic Medicine in 2000. She has completed coursework in functional medicine from the Institute of Functional Medicine and received physician training from the International Lyme Disease Association Education Foundation.
Dr. Harbor graduated with a BA from Oberlin College and received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina. She resides in Lexington, VA.
Keira has always had an interest and passion around research. She began her career as a molecular biologist at Pfizer where she focused on early stage research. Her passion for understanding the “why” provided her with the opportunity to work on HIV medications and develop a specialized set of skills around creating target –specific compounds through crystallization.
After more than 15 years as a molecular biologist, she decided to learn to emerge herself in the world of retail as a manager at Whole Foods Market. In 2008, she worked at the 2nd largest Whole Foods in the country and was instrumental in training the 100+ staff members on how to deliver an exceptional customer experience. All of which attributed to the stores growth in customers in revenue.
Her interest in healthcare never faded and in 2012 she joined n1Health, a healthcare start-up that partnered with physicians who specialized in providing preventative care through a membership based model. Her unique ability to connect with members and grow the medical practices, allowed her the opportunity to move into a corporate role where she became a Business Analyst. Her unique background in data analysis allowed her to provide clarity on the how the practices were utilized.
In 2016, Keira joined LeadHealth as our Research Director, where she is able to apply her background in molecular biology, analytics and client services in working with the Functional Medicine trained physicians that operate our work-site centers and staff our Telemedicine network.
Priya is a co-founder of LeadHealth and offers a unique perspective on data, as it pertains to health trends. Her desire to innovative healthcare can also be seen in her work as a Founder at LivingMatrix where she serves as CEO. Priya is passionate about melding beautiful design and smart technology to bring breakthrough solutions to medicine.
She is a self-professed start-up junkie and has been on founding teams at health technology and service companies including ZumeLife and Medley Health as well as in senior leadership roles at n1Health, Neoforma and Mercer. She has an MBA from Wharton, completed her Pediatric Residency at UCSF and MD from the University of Colorado.
